Series
CERAMICS

This series by the Brazilian artist Plínio Palhano brings together utensils and ceramic panels, centralising his theme on the figure of the Fish. From abyssal times and spaces, the Fish brings light, scintillates like a symbol, a live message among the marine nebulae.

Pieces in Ceramic

Extension and complement of the series Mare Nostrum, the pieces form an harmonious ensemble which includes dishes, vases, columns, fruit dishes, panels and ash trays for cigars.

Made in refractory ceramic, by a temperature of 1350º C, the argyle is mixed with other chemical elements and, then, to pigments of appropriate enamel, which gives it resistance, brightness and durability.

Each piece is a single work of art, personally created and decorated by the artist after argyle natural drying, before entering the stove. The fish as a conductive motive continues to develop intentionally and obsessively.
